Dealers deal. But they deal with people who make it easy, not with people who lead with a lowball and a lecture about eBay comps.
Tactics that work
- ★Pull three or four cards and ask for a bundle number.
- ★Have recent sold comps ready on your phone, but use them quietly.
- ★Cash is still king — ask what the cash price is.
- ★Ask 'what's your best on these?' instead of naming a lowball first.
- ★Be pleasant and come back. Regulars get first look at fresh inventory.
If a dealer says no, take the no gracefully. The floor is small and reputations travel fast.
